Joelle surprised me this morning. I was laying in bed and heard the noise of a catbox getting cleaned. I had to lay there and listen for awhile before I believed it. So I get up walk by her room- which is clean and to the kitchen. Joelle told me to go back to bed, but I couldn't. She had done the catboxes and cleaned her room and was busy making us both breakfast- yogurt with fresh fruit and toast. What a kid! I needed to wake up with something like that today.

I wonder what she wants from me?? LOL

Spent

I am fried. It has been a long week punctuated by a long day. Work hasn't been exactly the best lately- grades to get done and cleaning to do. I know everyone knows how the kids behave when the days of school left can be counted on one hand.  Plus the usual business with class placement and all that. 

Mitch's cell phone died yesterday so he went to the cell phone store to get a new one. They wouldn't let him do it because his name wasn't on the account so I had to go with him today. We added his name to the account. It is really no surprise that his name wasn't on it. I take care of all of that- for awhile his name wasn't even on the house. We got him added to it awhile ago. All the utilities and our savings account is still in my name. The whole this is we have to add him- mainly to the saving account but that means we have to go to the bank TOGETHER.  Yeah like we are both available during bank hours. I guess we can do that this summer.  Oh well it is coming up on summer so we can get that done too. I have been trying to get him interested in our finances. I pay all the bills and it is all on the computer so I don't even know if he could do it. I tried to show him how to do it when I had surgery but he didn't want to. I guess if I had someone else doing all that for me I wouldn't want to learn how to do it either. It just came to a head with the cell phone. Once we had it home he broke it by putting the memory card in wrong.  He was able to fix it- it is me that has to do all the electronic stuff- wiring the stereo and maintaining the computer. Most guys do that type of thing- not Mitch. Which reminds me I have to get my car in to get some minor things fixed on it and get a tune up before we go to Boise. I also still need to get Joelle to a dentist- let's not go there though cause I am still mad about the dentist thing. I need to call them next week though. We do have hair appointments for the Tuesday before we leave.  Mitch is great and he does do a lot around here- we just don't have defined jobs- he does just about everything I do and vice versa (except electronics and finances). So I am tired- I am not going to the gym and I think I will go to bed early. I was up late last night. Suzie and I went and saw Sex and the City. It was pretty good- really funny and I need the comedy. 

I know I told most of you about the 8th grade graduation- I cried. Andrew graduated. He was in my first class ever. He wrote about his school memories and it was second grade with me. I guess that is why I teach.  

Anyway i am going to bed- yeah it is seven pm on Saturday. I just am not much good at the moment. Maybe I will finish my book club book- I have to do that before Tuesday- on top of everything else. I should be used to this end of year crunch by now. I just think missing so many weeks of work messed me up.
