Well it has been about a week since my last blog and things have been busy. For starters we had the slumber party- or should I say party as there was little slumber involved. WOW. I have no idea that 11-12 yr old girls were so loud. Saturday was the Halloween Carnival and that was fun as always. Jo had a game on Sunday and she had the best shot I had seen this season. It was beautiful and hard and going straight to the goal too high and too far from the keeper. It was great. Unfortunately they were playing in 22 mph winds and at the last minute the ball curved and went out of the goal. It was awful. The team still won 2-1 but still it would have been nice to get that goal. Any other day and it would have been a goal. So she was super tired and so was I and we took a mental health day. Not to mention the fact that I had to get my hormones and UPS was supposed to deliver it and they would not leave them at the house without a signature. So my meds came and I signed for them. I also got the pool all closed up for winter so it was a good day. My team lost last night , but I think we will do better as we have a couple of new players who are pretty good. I went to the gym today- wow did that feel good. Anyway not much else going on here.

This will just be a quick blog as I have a lot to do. What all do I have to do? Well clean the house for one. That is the problem with having pets. I think I am at the point where I may just shave all the cats or get one like they had in the Austin Powers movies. LOL So much hair everywhere. I also need to clip their claws and all that good stuff. So the house is a mess and I have laundry to do and all that great exciting weekend stuff. Mitch went grocery shopping yesterday which was awesome. I will still have to go to costco for our apples. I know crazy but they are so good and so easy to pack in a lunch. I will also go to albertsons and see if I can find that diet cranberry sprite we like- it is just nothing but tastee.
It was so great to have Megan here. My class absolutely loved her and so did Joelle's class. It was too funny about the secretary at school thinking it was horrible that I left Megan home alone. Also I guess one of the soccer dads last week thought she was a little young to be wearing make-up. LOL Sorry Megan but you do look young. Trust me at some point in life you will think it is great. I almost to a little happy dance when I get carded. Sometimes I am the only one in the group to get carded it rocks. It was good to have Megan and Joelle spend sometime together. I really like hanging out and going to the movies. Wish the weather had been better. It is great now fifties without a cloud in the sky! I am also glad that Jo and Megan came to my game- even though my team got killed and I was actually sprawled out on the turf quite a few times. Our final score was 9-1 ( but I did score the one goal!) My legs are bruised up and my left knee is still a little tender. Soccer is such a contact sport. I was getting fouled all over the place and tripped and everything and when I had finally had enough I just decided to push my way through- much to Joelle and Megans delight- they were my cheering section. LOL Joelle had a good game today. The reffing was very bad- no fouls on the other team at all but quite a few on our girls including two on Jo! What??? So the end was a 0-0 tie as the only goal of the game was called offsides. ;( Joelle had a couple of shots and one of them we thought was sure to get in, but alas.... no goals.
Anyway I better get moving as I have a lot to do. We are still working on the pool and it looks like we will totally tackle it next weekend.
